Perfect Pour: Moon Juice's Amanda Chantal Bacon serves up a skin-enhancing treat.

L.A.-based wellness entrepreneur Amanda Chantal Bacon is a walking advertisement for the benefits of beautifying from the inside, out. As the founder of Moon Juice, the popular Southern California purveyor of green elixirs and healthy, raw snacks, Bacon makes a point to avoid dietary aggressors like dairy, wheat, and gluten—and she’s got the glowing, radiant complexion to prove it. But she also relies on dietary supplements to help skin radiance, like the tocotrienol compounds found in the vitamin E procured from California brown rice, which she has cleverly packaged in a creamy, blender-ready powder that’s sold in her Moon Apothecary. “[It] can really help nourish and regenerate,” Bacon says of the supplement. Here, the enterprising mother-of-one showcases her favorite ingredient in a beauty beverage that is spiked with the all-natural sweetness of lucuma fruit powder, a few spoonfuls of delicious sprouted almond butter, and a touch of micronized pearl for good measure.
